Wits
Wits was a stage show co-created by John Moe in 2010, then it became a national public radio show, then it got canceled, and then somehow it kept going. John has served as the host and head writer from the start.
Teaching at the Loft Literary Center
John Moe has taught a variety of classes at the Loft Literary Center, most notably Discovering Your Memoir’s Lead Character. In it, students learn how to connect events and memories in order to write a more cohesive memoir and discover a lot of things about their own lives. John has been awarded an Excellence In Teaching Fellowship by the Loft.
Math Emergency
Saint Paul Minnesota’s finest band among bands that have all-math professor rhythm sections. John is the lead singer and lyricist. He always thought you needed loads of talent and skill to be in a band but apparently this is not the case.
Fostering Rescue Dogs
John and his family have welcomed numerous dogs into their home through Minnesota-based nonprofit The Bond Between.
All of them have been very good dogs.
